So Tillman got a nice visit from Santa. Between Jolly St. Nick and his Grandparents he had so many presents to open that he actually didn't get them all opened until yesterday afternoon! He got the hang of opening presents, but seemed more interested in the paper once the presents were unwrapped.
He continued his rigorous social schedule with two family events, and a candle light church service Christmas eve and Christmas day. He handled all of this wonderfully. The schedule resumes with friend and family gatherings all weekend culminating with a NYE vewing of the Clemson Tigers in the Peach Bowl (Chick-fil-a bowl)via TV ofcourse.
Jody and I can't accurately express how wonderful it is to be home for Christmas. It truly is proof of many prayers answered. Thank you all for those prayers. Thank you for continued prayers for Grandpa Chesney. He had a good Christmas with his grandson.
So to update you guys medically and developmentally. Tillman's biopsy went well. His doctors were pleased with what they saw, which included normal pressures in the upper right part of his heart! We mean normal for you and I, not normal for Tillman or a heart transplant paitient! Also zero rejection. Tillman's next biopsy will be his one year follow up from transplant! ONE YEAR!!! This, will ofcourse take place sometime in February.
Tillman has reach new heights physically too. He is now pulling up and standing! When we sit him up and hold his hands he will pull up on us and stand! Christmas morning he showed us another new trick. He went from a seated positon to a lying positon on his own without falling over! He's also trying to talk more, still saying the same words, but is showing patterns of trying to carry on a conversation.
So I hope you are all doing well. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We hope to have some new pictures up soon.
God Bless you all,
Jason, Jody and Tillman
