100 Challenges! Wow! It is a year since this group was started and we have covered quite a few subjects here. However, I now want to steal an idea from Worth1000 and set a really sticky Challenge in celebration of reaching Challenge #100. Ready for a really challenging Challenge?
I want you to write a story using one syllable words
A STIR OF BIRTH AND MYRRH
What is the stir of birth and myrrh you ask me sir? Why it is the tale of a babe born in a barn!
It has been told as true. It has been told as myth. It has been told to all who are, he and she, in the land.
Yes, what I say is true!
It is told that a babe was long time past, born in a barn, in this tale of a birth and myrrh. He drew wise men from far out in the land, who gave him a gift or three.
Gold was one and myrrh one more.
It is told that when this chap was born.. God said," I bless you all, who are he and she in the land, for He will be a hand out of hell to you all!"
And so each year on the same day as this chap was born, all they who are he and she in the land, show great joy!
For this chap, who was born in a barn, is a Gift more than gold and myrrh!
That sir, is the tale of the big stir of birth and myrrh.
Yes! What I say is true!
For I have met this chap, have you?
