WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT ( besides buttercup the cow) IS A RADAR TRACKING OF THE ICE STORM WHICH HAS DEVASTATED THE STATES OF OKLAHOMA, KANSAS, MISSOURI, AND PARTS OF NORTHERN ARKANSAS. THE STORM AND COLD HAVE DIPPED DOWN TO INCLUDE CALIFORNIA AS A VICTIM TO ITS COLD FINGERS.... THE CITUS CROP THEY SAY IS OVER 2/3 DESTROYED..

GUESS I WILL HAVE TO GET MY VITAMIN C FROM MEGA MAN .CHEWABLES INSTEAD OF AN ORANGE OR A GRAPEFRUIT... TILL ...NEXT SEASON... SIGH..

I LUCKED OUT THIS GO ROUND, ALL THAT IS BOTHERING ME IS THE SOUND OF WATER DRIPPING TO PREVENT THE WATER PIPES FROM FREEZING.. ..50MILES TO THE WEST OF ME IN OKALAHOMA IS A MESS, AND 50 MILES TO THE NORTH OF ME IN THE COLLEGE TOWN OF ARKANSAS, IT IS NOT AS BAD AS MISSOURI, BUT THEY GOT A BIG DOSE OF SLEET AND ICE THERE ALSO....

We are on the threshold of some fierce winter weather. So far, winter hasn't existed in the East, but that will change. Much colder air made its presence felt from Maine to Georgia Tuesday, and several more arctic blasts can be expected in the weeks that follow. The AccuWeather.com long-range forecast for the rest of January and February is for harsh winter conditions everywhere from the Great Plains to the East Coast. The reason for the 180-degree turn is the abrupt shift in the jet stream, which is now flowing southward across the heart of central North America.
