MY AUNT SENT ME A FANTASTIC EMAIL LAST WEEK ABOUT THIS MAN WHO WAS DEVELOPING A WAY TO BECOME A HUMAN JET AIRPLANE. MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS THE SAME THOUGHT I HAVE ABOUT PEOPLE WHO JUMP OUT OF PERFECTLY GOOD AIRPLANES.. EVEN "PAY "TO ACTUALLY DO SUCH A THING!
BOOGLES THE MIND... IT TRULY DOES... 
ANYWAY ON WITH THE STORY.. THERE IS A MAN NAMED

HONESTLY I DID A MASSIVE SEARCH TO TRY TO GET MORE INFORMATION ON THIS GUY AND HIS MACHINE BUT I JUST KEPT GETTING SENT OUT TO THIS LITTLE BLOGS HERE AND THERE.. THIS GUY SEEMS TO THINK THIS MAN IS SOME SORT OF SUPERHERO .. BETTER THAN SUPERMAN.. BUT NOT AS INCREDIBLE AS BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25TH CENTURY FOR SURE, BUT HE HAD THE MOST INFORMATION THAT I COULD GET.. HERE IS THE LINK TO THE FELLOW.. ID NAME OF .. SERIOUSLY CRAZY.. Yves Rossy is an absolute lunatic, but we love him for it. He has been involved in human jet-powered flight since 2001, back in April he survived a potentially life threatening incident when his jet wings encountered problems mid flight. Since then he has been working on repairing and improving the system, he has been so busy with the repairs process he has not been giving any interviews whatsoever.
What we do know is this; he has completed thirty motorized flights with nothing but himself strapped to a set of carbon foldable wings, which provide the power source for his flights in a manner that is not fully disclosed. What is disclosed is how freaking awesome Yves Rossy is. If you do not believe us check out the gallery, we dare you. From what is available on the website there was a flight recorded at 100 knots, for 4 minutes.
Look closely at the 4 mini jet turbine engines on his wings.

WELL I SUPPOSE HE LANDED SAFE AND SOUND.. HEHEHE.. I WONDER WHEN NIKE IS GONA SPONSOR HIM.. HEHE

Crystal.. hehehee.. no doubt you are probably sooo right about that one!... I think it was Batman and Robin that made the first jet pack for superheros.. I guess this guy must have watched a lot of tv when he was a kid!
Wow! Looks like fun, but why is he flying over such difficult terrain? So that if he crash-lands, rescue will be virtually impossible?

Well Zen.. I am perfectly content to sit and watch this little video about a person jumping from an airplane and wearing 4 minijet engines that are powered by butane and then after they start good they burn kerosene..
ReplyDeletefor some reason.. I just feel like that is one less worry I need to put on my furture grandchildrens mind.. hehehee.. cause I would absolutely die from fright the second I could not feel the earth under these size 5's...
But yeah you are right that we need to keep busy to be healthy.. for sure!

ReplyDeletethis is unreal ... glad he enjoys what he does but I prefer my feet firmly planted on the ground.
I had dreams of flying as a kid .. the last time was out into space and after that, no matter how much I'd love to go farther .. guess my imagination just couldn't handle it.
