HE TELLS OF THE BUDGET HE HAS IN MIND FOR OUR DEFENSE DEPT., AND WHAT HE PLANS TO DO ABOUT KEEPING OUR DEFENSE UP TO DATE AND ON THE LEADING EDGE OVER ANY OTHER LARGE AND POWERFUL NATION.

THE SAME MILITARY AND WEAPON DEFENSE WE ARE DEPENDENT UPON TO ASSURE THAT WE ARE NEVER UP AGAINST A NATION THAT IS STRONGER THAN WE ARE IN THIS RESPECT. THE NATUAL DISASTERS, THE UNWILLINGNESS OF THE GOVERNMENTS TO EDUCATE THEIR PEOPLE IN BETTER MANAGEMENT OF THEIR AVAILABLE LANDS FOR GROWING FOOD, DEVELOPING WAYS TO PROVIDE SHELTER, AND MEDICINES, AND IN PART THE CONTINUOUS HAND OUTS THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND OTHER COUNTRIES HAS ALWAYS SUPPLIED THEM WITH, HAS GIVEN US A TRULY CRITICAL SITUATION IN OUR WORLD TODAY.

THEY WANT TO WATCH THE PEACE CORPS AND THE SOLDIERS DIG THIER WELLS FOR THEM.. PLANT THEIR CROPS, HARVEST THEM.. STORE THEM.. AND WHEN THE NEXT GROWING SEASON COMES.. THEY SIT AND WAIT FOR THEM TO "SHOW" THEM HOW ONCE MORE.

WE TRY TO EDUCATE THEM IN USING BIRTH CONTROL AND THE DANGERS OF SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASES.. IN HOPES THAT THEY WILL SEE WHAT IS NEEDED TO BRING ABOUT THE HARVEST AND DRY SHELTER FOR THE PEOPLE THAT THEY CAN CARE FOR IN THE NUMBERS THAT WILL ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN.
